Pure Pilates training on the mat is a thing of the past! The latest fitness trend awaits you exclusively at the Alpenhotel Kitzbühel: Reformer Pilates. This dynamic training method uses a special training device, the so-called reformer, to strengthen and shape the entire body through many different exercises.
What is a Reformer?
The Reformer is the core of Reformer Pilates. This exercise device features an integrated carriage that slides on rails. Thanks to built-in springs, the resistance can be adjusted according to the desired workout intensity. The machine is also equipped with special hand straps and a foot bar. The user can sit, kneel, lie down, or stand on the carriage and move it by pushing with their arms or legs against the foot bar or by pulling on the straps.
Why should you try Reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates is a comprehensive workout that not only strengthens the muscles but also improves flexibility and posture. The joint-friendly exercises help balance both sides of the body symmetrically, preventing muscular imbalances. Additionally, it stabilizes the core, leading to better posture and a healthier back.
Who is Reformer Pilates suitable for?
Reformer Pilates is ideal for all fitness levels—from beginners to advanced practitioners. It is particularly beneficial for those looking to improve their posture and fitness or for individuals seeking to regain strength after an injury.
How do I book a session?
On Saturday, August 3rd and Sunday, August 4th you have the opportunity to try the Pilates Reformer with our personal trainer Peter. The session lasts 45 minutes and costs €90. You can book an appointment at the hotel reception or directly here.
